RE: Transall C-160

If you mount or test the 2826-10, your findings would be much appreciated. I selected these motors based on number of cells vs. prop options. I have yet to do any in depth testing. From what has...

RE: CC35 ESC Question

The Firmware / Software version level may be different between the two units. I believe that the 35 also has a choice of PWM (Hz) in some versions of software (at least later verisions). The other...

RE: Battery advice

I am using the Kokam 1500 3 cell (8C). On sale at FMA for about $25. They are heavier, and I have converted to brushless, but they are fine for hover practice.

RE: Night Ranger 3D Gallery

JD
The tail is direct drive. The main is using a 12 tooth pinion. It's a real torky motor. I built both motors from redily avalilable parts and a bit of machining. I am using a GWS receiver,...

RE: blades

I am flying them on my Blade. More lift at the same head speed and it seems like better responce to the sticks. Great product at a very good price.

RE: Honeybee tail motors

The full set up is shown here http://www.bladecprepair.com/ for the Blade CP. The same setups will work and fit with the HB. I have both machines. Many parts can be combined as a hybrid.

RE: Went separates, tail going crazy

I agree! I have set two machines up brushedfirst and then burshless without a mixer, just using the mix in the TX. Some of th HH gyros need no mix as long as they can arm the speed control (full...

RE: HB CP 2

I have found that tip overs and light crashes will break the balls off the mixing arms at the top of the head. I keep two packages around [EK1-0229]. BalsaProducts also carries them.

RE: CX LiPo Battery Questions - Help Me Please

I would have to suggest new motors as a next step. If the batteries are still above 8 volts after 30 seconds, it does not sound like the charger or batteries. Possibly a lot of binding in the drive...

RE: E-Power 11.1V 1300mAH 3S Li-Po Battery ?

I got two also. Good capacity and I do not mind the weight for that kind of flight time. The leads on mine are very heavy and stiff. This was my only complaint until one developed a loose...

RE: Transall C-160

I just started building out my 160. I settled on the AXI 2826 / 10 and two CC 45s. My testing/calculation shows that 11x7 APC ā€˜Eā€™ props on 3s2p Kokams seem to have about the same thrust and...
