Great info, thanks.

My 'override' was programmed with a value, so I can take it to 80%, rather than the 57% at the throttle stick fully down position.

It was that sneaky check box that had me...

While it's all fresh in my mind, I thought I'd relay the process of setting up my X9D Plus SE for fixed wing.

I already have a bunch of models set up for drone use, which I configure in...

I've run a Moki 135 since 2005. I was always under the understanding that they should run on straight 80/20 Castor oil. On the advice of the retailer at that time, he advised me that 5% Nitro,...

As for the trend which had definitely started in 2013 or earlier, where Brushless sales seemed to be eating into the market share of nitro sales, globally.

This was no doubt encouraged by e...

There are many good points raised here. I think too many people buy a temp gun and attempt to 'tune' their engine to a target temperature. During the process, they ignore their own senses.

Long...

RE: Moki Engines Thread

If the low speed adjustment o-ring is broken, it will effect your carb at any speed.

RE: Moki Engines Thread

Have you inspected the rotary low speed adjustment dial on the carb? They sometimes have problems when the O-ring perishes. This means that the dial won't stay put and also causes leaks. Mine had...

RE: Moki Engines Thread

Just out of interest, what size hole did you drill in your Moki's backplates, and what size did you tap the threads? Could you post links to the pressure nipple you used? Or any details on how...

RE: Moki Engines Thread

I use a 3 line system with ASP fuel dots. I find the the filler line has worked fine with a second clunk. When I referred to filler, I really mean the 3rd line.

The perry pump, under some...

RE: Moki Engines Thread

A header tank is a smaller second tank that helps even-out fuel supply. Because the header is smaller, it can be plumbed in to a more suitable, higher position. The header tank should have it's own...

RE: Moki Engines Thread

@ Luv Bipes

How do you find the Moki compares to the OS 1.60 in terms of power output cc for cc? OS engines are always used as a bench mark. Moki engines seem to have a very high compression...

RE: Moki Engines Thread

I'm a firm believer of belt and braces. I think a pump will most likely cure it, providing there is nothing nasty lurking in your carb or lines or air leaks. At the same time, using 1/8th" lines...

RE: Moki Engines Thread

@Bunsen

I love your Bipe as well. It looks 'Proper'. I think I'm going to have to build one soon, so long as it's aerobatic and has a stupidly powerful engine - like the Moki 1.80 or 2.10.

RE: Moki 135 vs YS 120

I put a Moki 135 into my Funtana S90 - it's approximately a 25% size model. The Funtana S90 is perfect for the Moki and the CoG works out just right! As a bonus, the tank can be mounted near the...
