RE: Carl Goldberg Foam MIG 27got 2 of them

Does anyone know of some for sale at a reasonable price? Haven't seen any on fleabay for quite a while. I have one that I recently put up in the air with a .75 and it flies real nice where you...

prop size

Well, it's been a while and I can't find any reference in my books and such. I've got an Evolution 46....what's the best prop size? I was once told that the higher the pitch, the faster it'll go. ...

RE: dual tank setup

Well, I tried both ways. It definitely would not work drawing fuel from the bottom existing tank...fuel just gushed out of the carb, hydrostatic locking the engine and all. I reversed it to draw...

RE: dual tank setup

So, in other words, the new 16 oz tank sitting on top of the wing now becomes the supply to fuel the engine. Am I understanding this correctly? In that case, will muffler pressure be enough to...

dual tank setup

Alrighty...here's the situation. I'm attempting to configure my old trainer airplane for a dual tank setup in preparation for an upcoming endurance flight. Existing tank in the fuse is 8oz (inline...

RE: AkroMaster CL-20

I agree, really no need for an actual set of plans...I was just curious if there were supposed to be any, because two of the die-cut balsa sheets were not in the box so it had me really wondering...

RE: AkroMaster CL-20

Okay, this may come as an ignorant question....I've got one of these kits, and the instructions provided have twice told me to reference the included plans. The fact is, there were no plans in this...

RE: GMS 47 = garbage

What they said. I've found lint, hair, ghost turds, dirt and all sorts of stocking stuffers inside various carbs in the past when my engines were giving me fits. This is in spite of running a...

RE: Fox problem

To clarify, the piston is loose and has a comfortable feel at TDC and BDC, but from BDC going on the upstroke it gets tight as heck and then starts to loosen again before hitting TDC. Then...

RE: Fox problem

But FOX did do a number of different 36x engines. But most of those were intended for balloon-bladder fuel tanks, as they didn't have a venturi and needed pressure injection for the fuel.

Earl,...

RE: Mounting tuned pipe. On Little Toni ??????

Do you have any of that hospital finger-splint aluminum material lying around? I concocted a strap out of this stuff and it works great to anchor that pipe. Even has its own built in foam padding.

And don't use isopropyl rubbing alcohol to thin it, as this contains a lot of water. If you're going to thin it, use denatured alcohol.

RE: Where Have All The Kits Gone ?

Hopefully, some of the companies will listen and start producing more kits. What I see now on the web and in the mailbox almost disgusts me.
