Hiya Randy,

Looking great, you seem to be trying to get as much scale ( alot of it unseen ) into your model as possible. One thing tho that sticks out like a sore thumb to me is the land gear...

Totally agree with the electric motors sounding much better than having any glow motors powering it.... then there's also little chance of having an engine flame out too... I'll get one! Shame about...

No FPV, we just quickly mounted Neil's GoPro with velco onto the front cockpit/wing former as a trial. Good to see the Saito didn't vibrate the picture too much and the sound was still good too.

Mines still flying, tho the top tail stabiliser thingies broke ( in the pre mentioned way in this thread ) and not being any good at soldering I fixed it with flying wires.

Yes that's a old un-used Ironing Board that has found better use in my shed! great for sitting your model on and being able to walk all around it, unlike a bench...

Yeah of course, replaced the bearings and got the MAS 18x6 singing at 8500 static. real nice idle with the C-tronics onboard glow too, with good spool up to WOT Just waiting for half decent weather...

What spinner size did you get?

I'm using a TrueTurn 2 3/4 alloy one and did order a TT 2 1/4 one also.... the 2 1/4 Trueturn cone will not go over my MAS 18x6 ( or my 16x8 for that matter )...

Yup factory wheels and spats are off. Not so much because of the length of the grass but it being quite wet ( winter here of course ) the spats can fill up with mud in no time. I have some 5 inch...

Nice pictures there farty pants, the 182 fits in there well by the looks...... my 180 has about half of the rocker covers sticking out, argh well. Hoping to maiden this coming weekend
