RE: Official Tamiya TA05 thread!

When I mid-throttle while turning, my TA05 makes a lot of chatter noise. When I take the wheels off in the front though, it's fine. I tried moving the wheels manually while the steering rack is fully...

RE: What chassis is stronger: TC4 or TT-01?

Yea, the TT-01 is more rugged for taking hits, but if you wanna run a Brushless, you wanna get a good chassis, too. Just upgrade the Diffs on the TC4 and it'll be fine.

RE: HPI Micro RS4 drifting

Do you get some big angles like a 1/10th scale? And will I need a better motor than the stock one? Thx

HPI Micro RS4 drifting

I am getting an HPI Micro RS4 and plan to drift it. Must I only lock the rear differential(Like 1/10th scales) or do I have to lock both front and back(like an XMod)? Thanks!

RE: NEW REVIEW: Duratrax Micro Street Force

You need a brushless ESC, such as this.

As you read through it's specs, you will read how it has 3-wire design.

RE: RWD DRIFTING...

No one ever said that you can't drift an RWD. It's just that they're REALLY hard to drift and you easily lose control.

RE: Don't hit me. I'm a NOOB

To mod a "toy" would take a lot of work. Not to mention the stronger motor you would NEED, more sensitive steering that would be appropriate and throttle control.

The only thing to do would be...

RE: Novak Super Stock Brushless Motor System

I'm pretty sure it would work because I have heard people use SS5800 brushless systems in their TT-01, and the SS5800 is stronger than the SS4300. Also, it's a 27t motor equivalent, so it should work.

RE: For Drifting, Battery Or Nitro ?

Look at it this way. Mostly everyone drifts electric. Drifting competitions are electric only. It also looks more realistic.

There.

RE: Differences between TT-01 and TL-01?

They're both pretty balanced, but I'll say this again.

If you're looking into drifting and racing pretty competitivly, get the TT-01.
If you just want to bash around and have fun, get a TL-01....

RE: Will locking my rear diff give me more traction?

Yes, locking your rear differential is almost a must for drifting.

Oil filled shocks will also help, but IMO, don't buy them unless you're going to go racing, not just drifting.

RE: Hey Supz. little help 4 a noob pls :P

It's pretty much a TL-01. You can drift it with the right stuff. You just might want to get a charger, new batteries, and an ESC later.
