Key features to look for in radio?

I'm going to be moving from the RTF world into ARFs (electric) and am first looking at radios. What are the key features that you look for and that may seperate one from another?

I have had the exact same problem. My guess is at some point its popped out of the lousy harness they use to keep it in place. If you haven't already, use some duct tape and wrap it around the boom...

Yep, my boom has gone boom. Sounds like your boom became unglued (real cheesy glue job) and went into the board. Underneath the plane are four screws that hold in the circuit board....
