Hello,

Where would one go to buy a copy of the Gary Allen Tiger Moth plans? Is Model Airplane News still in business?

Thanks

Newbie has gas engine questions

Hello fellow flyers,

After flying the smaller stuff for years I've decided to have a go at a large airplane. My first project is a 1/3 Piper J-3 Cub.

For power I have purchased a ZDZ 60...

RE: Help with Vailly Fw190

Chuck,

That link did the trick! I found a build thread dedicated to the exact model I have. Thanks!

Tom, thanks for your input as well. I think I'm going to proceed with the 190 build. ...

RE: Help with Vailly Fw190

Tom, thanks for the input.

My best bet might be to try and find a "build along" that I see posted here from time to time.

Failing that I may just put the 190 on the backburner and go with a...

I am ready to take on my first giant scale warbird.

Recently I aquired a Vailly Aviation Fw190 project from a friend of mine who decided he would never get around to...

RE: Sterling P-38's

Scott,
As for price, I've seen those kits bring a pretty penny on eBay. That being said, those are really cool kits that bring back a lot of memories. If it has appeal to you I say build one and...

Hi Everyone,
I'm building the BUSA 1/3 cub. This thread will come in handy for ideas on detailing.

RE: Re: gear drawings

Hello everyone,

I just spoke to Doss as well. Sure enough, he is considering producing again.

I specifically asked him about his landing gear. He said he would consider setting his...

RE: Re: gear drawings

Hello Everyone,

I would very much like to get a hold of a set of these plans. If there's anyone out there who can pass on my number to Doss, it's 706-658-6848.

Thanks
Gene Norman

RE: tiger moth

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for the info. Did you encounter any particular difficulties with the Premier kit? For example, any parts fit problems? I'm not bothered by it being a "builders kit" with...

Hi Dennis,

Did you build your Premier Tiger Moth yourself? It looks very nice. How well did the Premier kit go together?

Regards

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the info. Turns out I was in error. The size needed is 2.75". Do you happen to know if the Great Planes wheels come in that size? Also, the model is a gassie (Scale Aeronca...

RE: WHAT OR WHO GOT YOU INVOLVED IN R/C FLYING OR C/L...

This post has been most enjoyable to read.

I can still remember exactly how I got into the hobby of flying models.
I had been a plastic model builder since about the age of 8 or 9. I loved...
