RE: V24 OWNERS:Mods and Solutions

Hey I dig that setup asphyx9. How do you handle putting a load on the prop with it out of the water?

RE: V24 OWNERS:Mods and Solutions

I was able to rotate that cam pretty far without that. To the point where the front end was very high out of the water and the control was very fidgety. I then backed off on it a bit of course.

Nope, not near any metal, and wrapped in foam.

RE: Shock wave 55 ss questions

It's like that in every forum that I have ever visited or been a member of. I think we are dealing with ignorance being bliss.

RE: V24 OWNERS:Mods and Solutions

Anyone notice an excessive amount of water entering the boat? At first I suspected the hole in the back where the pipe exits. Then I discovered the stuffing tube had come loose and worked it's way...

RE: V24 OWNERS:Mods and Solutions

I had the same issue, only I just slightly bent the linkage into sort of an "L" shape where the servo connects leaving the rest of it straigt, you know like some airplane linkages come factory...

RE: V24 Throttle Travel Solution - Easy Fix

I don't know about flipping it but here is what I did find out. There are two holes in which that piece pivots from. The first photo shows factory install in the hole to the rear or toward the...

RE: V24 Throttle Travel Solution - Easy Fix

I took a look at this, and the trigger as is is curved away from the grip. If I flip the trigger it would be curved toward the grip with about 1/8" travel. How does this give you more travel?

RE: Hobbico's NEW gas boat 54" 24cc w/tuned pipe

RE: Hobbico's NEW gas boat 54" 24cc w/tuned pipe

I dig the mods man. I may have to bite a few of them. I was also thinking of using a double pickup rudder and get rid of the pickups on the trim tabs.

RE: Pro boat Shockwave 55

I'm with you hpiguy. Speculation is one thing. Actual on the pond experience with a particular product is another.

RE: Can't add an avitar.

Nope, you need a photo editor to get the avitar/photo down to the correct size requirement. Any ole photo editor will do. I think you can do it with Windows Paint.

RE: Hobbico's NEW gas boat 54" 24cc w/tuned pipe

I agree with hpiguy. I couldn't get past the hull on the Super G. Although it may be faster with the Zenoah. I also dig the gel coat finish on my V24. Fun boat...

RE: sons new boat!!

I purchased a few of these boats very inexpensive a while ago on e-bay (about $20.00 bucks apiece). And I upgraded the motors to get a bit more speed. What I have found is that if one of the motors...

RE: Drilling fibre glass

Actually no. Once the glass is laid and dry the hull should be like one whole unit. If you are going to drill I would use brad point bits and don't press to hard, let the tool do most of the work. ...

RE: Servo Type

If you would like a bit quicker response out of the rudder servo, look for one that has metal gears. Racers Edge makes one that I have found to work pretty reliably. Not very expensive either. ...
