For a Tx-Rx field charger, I use the Sirius Pro.

I require a charger that I can just plug into the transmitter and receiver

batteries both at the same time and then just walk away.

I've been using the ACE Super Digipulse for forming and overnight charging.

It will handle from 1 to 10 cells on each output.

It has 6 independent outputs programmable from 10 to 150 mAh,...

If you've installed the 9V memory backup battery,
check it for leakage or short.

Reset to be done with power ON.

Maybe check power output on wall transformer:
24VAC @ 1.8A.

The Sirius Charge Pro is a 550mA regulated current source.

It requires a 10 to 18 volt DC input @ 1.5 Amp.

It charges 4 to 8 NiCd cells, 250 to 1200mAh on the Tx side,

and 3 to 6...

The Cox Black Widow has plenty of power for any 2-meter floater.

If you put 1.673 Ah into the pack in 3.38 hrs the charge rate was set at

0.50Ah not 0.05Ah. Be careful if you set it to 0.2Ah (making sure it's not set to 2.0Ah)
