I too use the 7 cell 1100 powerizers in my ABC. I'm using the standard tail and flying in pro mode. The one thing I did do is run a small dowel nearly the whole length of the underside of the wing....

Anyone try the 18 amp brushless motor / esc combo available on Ebay? Says it's GWS style. If so how was it and what would it be good for. You'll have to excuse me I have no experience with this....

Ok, I see you rpoint about the connectors with the Deans Plugs. I was just going off the tamyia connectors that come stock on the PZ planes. Neither male or female are exposed with this connection.
