RE: Compressing shock with shorter spring to lower car. Is it practical?

I agree with kostaktinos. But if you really want to make it shorter, it would be better to install the piston rod with 2 to 3 o-rings (see fig. 2) to act as spacers. In this way, less stress will be...

RE: best on road car

Yeah, I'm not really a BD (Belt Drive) fan but I think I'll get the Scythe as my next project. The Scythe's C-hubs, knuckles, suspension arms, pivot blocks, and some other parts fit the Pro4 and...

RE: Digital Servo Poll

Two more factors are the gear material and the coreless motor. Tiatanium gears are very tough. Indestructable should I say. Because I've tried the Futaba S9402 with metal gears before. The metal...

RE: Which bodies fit the Pro4

Most 190mm bodies fit the pro4 perfectly. all 190mm HPI bodies, Ride, Protoform, Excell, etc. The body that is most fit the pro4 is HPI Dodge Stratus Aero 2.

RE: best on road car

Of course most people who would suggest will tell you to get a car that they are using. It's kind of bias. Honestly, If you were to ask me, I'd get an HB Cyclone, X-ray T2, Top Racing Scythe, Tamiya...

RE: Digital Servo Poll

I am actually using the 5955TG on my pro4. I know that the torque produced by the 5955TG servo is over the requirement for my pro4 but who wouldn't get a servo that was only sold to me at $25, and...

RE: I need an ESC recommendation.

Get a Futaba MC230CR. It's just under $50. It has a reverse function but you can disable it when ever you want. The MC230 has a 20T motor limit. Replace the battery and motor wires to 12 gauge and...

RE: Digital Servo Poll

At the end, it is still up to the user to choose what ever he wants. Some people like more speed, and some people like more torque. It will all come down to one decision for the driver.
