Left it in hot water almost boiling with only afaint trace of yellow after one hour. I have done dozens of wheels like this with fanastic results ,look at these wheels.

Boots are available from any Audi,Porsche or VW dealer. U.S. part # is 443-906-102-G. Should be the same # in Europe. Same thing FG sells for $15.00.

chrome, spliting the cases is not complicated at all. 1. remove the clutch. 2. remove the flywheel. 3.remove your old top end . 4. take the 4 bolts out behind the flywheel that hold the cases...

selwa, you are right they are thicker. I think the duratrax stresstech parts are stronger than the FG's. This is based on having broke far more FG parts than duratrax parts
