Took her out today and I must say I’m pretty impressed with this thing. Handles great pretty good speed. I got about ten mins run time wth my lectron pro 11.1 v 5200 50c batteries.

try the batteries from radio shack , they used to be gp cells I have a few from like 4 yrs ago and still work good .

Well I got my turnigy 120amp esc and the turnigy motor I posted up along with my coupler for the shockwave bl to go from 5mm to the size that is standard on the apache. Worked out great and I took it...

Does anyone know if the proboat shockwave brushless coupler is reduced on one end. Meaning does is it 5mm on one side and 1/4 on the other.?

Yes the proboat motor is 2900 kv with water-cooled esc . I have 2cell 4000mah 25c batteries now.

Yes the esc is stock and if it was damaged wouldn't it heat up ? It was warm to the touch when I was running the 17 double, the motor got so hot it the postive wire came off.

Ok well went to the lake today ran the boat with the new motor stock prop and 2cell 4000 lipo and it ran awesome with very nice speed but that was short lived. The motor didn't even last I full...

Burned up the stock motor and I put a graupner 600 bb motor in it but havent hit the water yet . What kind of performance can I expect from that motor. I'm not gonna go brushless till everything frys.

Well I got the apache today put a traxxas plug on it pulled the shaft lined it set the outdrive and went to the lake, I ran a 2 cell lipo 4000 mah 25c battery and I must say I was pretty impressed...
