Looking real good I really like the rudder!! I was wondering about the jb weld on the exhuast, have you done that before, will it hold up to the heat and vibration ok? I braised mine using map gas...

Okay, I think it's time to step away from the airplane. I believe the weathering is pretty much complete, heres the finished results next I will clearcoat the entire airframe, and then put it away...

The mud and rust was done using brown and rust (i use burnt sierra) acrilic paints applied with a dry brush and the spattering was done by banging the brush gently against a solid object to fling the...

Frank I think the added weight of the exhuast helpped with the weight up front plus the batteries are close to the firewall

Sorry Chickenhawk I thought you were talking about the wheel wells, Invertmast has it right, I used regular and coarse salt, Just moisten the area apply the salt then let dry thouroly befre adding...
