Ditto. What size is a Stinger 180? Never heard of it. I also have a 120 & Giant. I have a DLE-55 in my Giant & it flies great (unlimited vertical) at my altitude (5960ft).

For what it's worth, I have a giant Stinger. I put a DLE55 with a Frank Bowman ring in it. It is awesome! Way more power than it probably needs. Just my two cents worth.

I have two DLE 30's. I've tried many differant props also. I keep coming back to the Menz 18x8 for best rpms & thrust. I have a way of actually checking the pull thrust accurately.

No it has the one piece wing. Unfortunitely when Lanier was bought up by Great Planes, they discontinued most of the line. Big mistake! All I can suggest is look around at estate sales or on line...

Hunting Dad,

I currenty have a 120 Stinger. It flies great with a Moki 180 on it. If you keep it light (13 -15 lbs) it should fliy great with a DLE30 on it. lnewqban is correct about the CG...

Look under Zenoah gas engines, primarily the G38. They have the velocity stack at the best price & it fits ALL walbro carbs or equivelant. I use them on all my gas engines.

I can't explain all your problems. I have one of the original DLE30 with th side carb & it runs great! 1/2 gallon of fuel isn't a heck of a lot to get it broke in & idling...
