RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD

Hey guys, sorry to slice in here with an unrelated question, but I want/need a replacement servo saver for my Pede and am looking for something better than stock. I think the Kimbrough savers are...

RE: ****NEW LOSI AFTERSHOCK!!****

You keep mentioning this truck, but it is available only in the UK and you present no ammunition as to why it is the best for the buck. Please elaborate and more people will actually listen to you.

RE: Deans plug ends

I noticed a good improvement in speed when I went over to Deans. I think there is also a majority opinion that if you go to brushless you have to upgrade the connectors lest you melt everything!

RE: My Newly Painted Body (Revo)

Yet another example of "less is more." Great job, love the simple paint schemes so as to not detract from the overall look of the vehicle.

RE: removing tires from rims

Soak them overnight in a bucket of acetone. Please be careful of the fumes.

RE: solder not easy

I had the same frustration when I was soldering my brushless motor. It turned out that my soldering iron wasn't getting hot enough, that may be part of the problem. Did you adequately clean your...

RE: Rising Storm Ride Height

I can vouch for the HPI SS wheels because I run them on my Storm. Nice looking! As far as shock springs, NOT true that only Tamiya springs will fit. I am currently playing around with Team Losi...

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD

I have the Traxxas alloy big bore and love them, no problems at all. Gunnut, I'm glad to hear you finally fixed your shock problem. I know you were having fits when you first put them on!

RE: The way that Tamiya has chosen to go today, stinks!

xism, so you are bashing Tamiya yet you say you like them "better than the others?" Not making sense. They include bushings and friction shocks, low cost items, etc, so that you can buy the kits...

RE: rear is toooo low

Check oil levels definitely. Also, are you using preload spacers on the front and not the back? Or maybe different sized spacers? Just some ideas to consider.

RE: Stampede steering receiver mounting?

You could just strap it in with a zip tie or use double-sided tape.

RE: Novak SS5800 brushless.

Gunnut and I run the same basic setup, 5800, GTB, Masher 2Ks, 16/87. Awesome, just awesome. I love the 5800 so far!

RE: Rustler or Pede?

Yeah, these posts all come down to what you plan on doing with the vehicle. Running around/racing against friends? Rustler. Bashing/jumping/serious offroad? Pede.

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD

No glitching at all with my 5800. Maybe the GTB makes that big of a difference over the SS?

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD

Just took the Pede out with her new SS5800 and Swamie Wheelie Bar. GOOD LORD! Had no idea just how fast the brushless setup would truly be. AMAZING! Absolutely incredible. Can't say...

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD

Sweet. I knew someone would come through with good info. I've got Masher 2000's, switched over to Deans just today. Think I'll stay with the 16 and see what I get. I am geared 16/87 with the...

RE: pinion/spur

Yeah, I think you go back to them and call them on their poor customer service.

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD

I know this is in the post somewhere but the search function failed me. Again. Recommended gearing for a Pede with a Novak GTB/5800 setup? Thanks, guys.

RE: pinion/spur

Yes, just have to agree with the above posts. As tight as possible is as dumb as possible advice. Place a piece of paper in between the pinion and spur. Push them together tightly then bolt...

RE: What is the best rc

Not a fair comparison. On your list you've got micros and we are trying to compare them with much larger offroads vehicles? That is like asking which is better-a canoe or a 100' yacht. All depends...

RE: Doing my first.... Help please.

Paint maybe 3-4 layers. Light layers are better. Wash the body with soap and water. Some bodies ship with a protective coat of anti-fungal chemical. It is necessary to remove this coat. Drill...
