Thats what I would probably tell someone too. However, there is only so much beefing up you can do to .187 size carbon fiber tubes.
I already have cf rod epoxied inside so it is pretty much 1/4...

I just tought the "engine too big" thing was a little screwed up. The recommended fuji 43cc not only weighs more than a DA but supposedly turns 11000 rpm and they say that a 20x10 prop is recommended...

Just got back from the field. 8 flights. The plane had 8 flights on it and the wings collapsed. It just sort of folded up like a butterfly and then the wings and fuselage went their seperate ways.

I'm using airwild 1.5" mlp servo arms, dubro hd ball links, 4-40 threaded rod and carbon fiber tube for reenforcement and dubro hd control horns. I kind of wish I had gone with titanium turnbuckles...

A couple loops around the tank will work just fine.It works just like the p trap on your sink drain. I use this on all of my gassers and have had no problem with it.
I also use a filter on the end...

The carbon fiber rods make the gear plenty strong and still let them flex. Mine has held up great so far and the mount in the fuselage seems to be handling the load pretty well.

fiberglass or carbon fiber pushrods also work very well. The dave brown fiberglass rods that tower sells are what I used.

I only had about a 1/4 inch gap but i can't be sure if there was any bending in the coupler. It looked like it just got too hot. I'll get a new stock coupler and make sure it's set up properly.
