prop balancing

yeah getting the ball links threaded on the rods is a pain, i used the tail rod (longest) and threaded ball links on each end, then unscrewed one end and rethreaded another ball link, it's alot...

OK, now does the AR6100e (end pin) have to be the updated version V1.2 like the standard AR6100?

I've read posts about the original AR6100 dropping out due to a fault, and the manufacturer...

you don't understand, I couldn't fold the blades back even if the locknuts were totally removed, i had to sand them.

I would have made a lot more mistakes and probably still be building the heli...

I sanded them back a little and now they're alot better, but still firm, which i'm guessing they should be.

I finished the build of my trex 450 SE V2.

i have a DX7 and have it all set up ok, normal mode pitch curve is about -2 degrees at low stick, 0 at mid and +9 at full stick, but in throttle hold...

i agree, looks pretty full-on when you open the box, but once you start adding bits in the build it gets less intimidating;)

I didn't explain myself very well,

i was talking about the little plastic tabs that the servo mounting screws thread into, but after starting the build i found that they come with the heli not...

Congrats.

I got mine pretty fast, well fast from US to Australia. i bought a DX7 system the day before the heli arrived. Now i'm just waiting on some tools and spares i ordered...

Well now that I've bought a trex V2, I'm looking for some tools to get the thing together.

I have ordered ball link pliers and now I'm looking at a ball link sizing tool but not sure what size...

A new SE V2, 65 MG servos, 401 and 9650 tail.
