Looked up this forum string cause I just had to do this myself.

I ended up heating up the gearbob a little with a hair dryer, then cutting at the sides of where the housing mounts to the tail...

Oh yeah.. forgot to mention...
I went out and got heatsinks for the main and tail motor. Long story short, I had the training gear off of the heli when I was woking on it, then reinstalled them...
