Thanks for the input. Darn I bought the GWS pack with the battery. So what your saying is don't even botther trying with the 8.4. I kinda figured. The plane seems a bit heavy for a slow flyer.

I have owned both the XL and Aerobird.

Tommy632 is accurate that it will teach you bad habbits because you use full left and full right on your transmitter in order to tunr the birds.

Hi, First time poster.

I'm building a GWS P51 and the battery I have with my GWS Flight Pac is 8.4v 400 MAH.

Is that enough to power this plane ??
