Well that may just be what the manufacturer puts on there product. Labels like that, from a company like that, are really unreliable. The best thing to do is figure out what the real output voltage...

Not to be mean or anything, but your best bet around that problem would be to get rid of the problem. The parkflyer motors just aren't that great and it relatively easy to find a aftermarket...
