Good things usually get small improvements that are easily upgradeable (see LST to LST2)

I would imagine the same will go for the LST3....

RE: What should i get?

Listen kid, you want some good advice? Don't ever let anyone tell you you can't do it.

As for the best RC truck to get, depends what you want. I've worked on the T-maxx, didn't like it. I was...

RE: Why are some guys locking the diff's?

Isn't the TC4 a ball diff?

You might just have to tighten the screw inside the diff cup.

RE: Why are some guys locking the diff's?

To lock the diff you can fill it with epoxy, not sure how long that would last though.

As for WHY people lock diffs, on some surfaces (snow, slick mud, ice) a locked diff gives you better...

RE: Ooops! What damage did i do?

NiMH don't suffer from "memory", only NiCd's do. I have heard of this trick as well, but I think it's like chicken soup, an old wive's tale. Zapping cells has proven to be more effective at removing...

RE: Dipping electronics in Epoxy for weatherproofing

Wow!

You know epoxy shrinkage makes sense. I would say it takes several weeks for it to completely dry and I have seen some epoxies crack (aerospace epoxies don't seem to suffer from this).

RE: Dipping electronics in Epoxy for weatherproofing

As far as servicing the electronics, I think everyone with experience knows that getting through epoxy once hardened is impossible. This problem is a major concern mostly for those high-end receivers...

RE: Lets get some pics from everyones rides :D

I got fed up of waiting and drove the truck in 5 cm's of snow. Scares me a little that the servos are all exposed underneath so I taped it closed with duct tape (lasted a whole 5 minutes in the...

RE: Loose spur gears?

Ok, so I'm guessing that second washer was a mistake from Losi when they manufactured it.

I'm really starting to question Losi's Quality Control now. Seeing as how I've so far had 2 screws...

Loose spur gears?

Upon disassembling my 2 speed, I noticed there were 2 washers in between the 1st and 2nd speed. On the exploded parts view, it only shows 1. So when i removed it, I noticed a little slack now in the...

RE: quality allen wrenches?

Ya I agree, but this set comes with a "handle". Obviously not the same quality handles as the dedicated r/c companies, but I kinda can't afford a 60$ set of tools.

Best Wing Kit for LST2?

Is there any other wing kits for the LST2 besides the Losi one? I searched the forums but everyone only seems to talk about the Losi wing, is it because this is the best one?

Thanks!

RE: Making your truck go str8

I would definitely change those servo savers. Those things are about as flimsy as they get. I noticed my truck has the same problem when I blip the throttle, and I am almost 100% sure it's the weak...
