advice please!

Nitro evader w. os 18cvr, engine running but wheels not turning. checked slipper. whats going on. I have taken apart the tranny not too long ago. everything looked good.

i dont think they make that, what i did was ca glue a piece of aluminum foil there, it takes some patience to get all the wrinkles out but seems to work. shiny side out reflects heat better.

First will a 2.5r engine rebuild kit fit in a 2.5?

Second, will the be a difference in perfomance?

i can turn the flywheel with my pinky but can definately feel where TDC is and is sort of tough to turn i dont understand what step 3 is

How do you know if you need to replace your engine. I have a Traxxas 2.5 and have about 3 or 4 gallons through it.

I have a Jato and I had the same problem. I changed all the fuel lines, cleaned the high speed and the low speed needle, changed the fuel tank, and tightened the back plate..from what you described...

I agree change the fuel and dont let it sit in the tank. Also change the glow plug.One trick I use is on my intial start I warm the head with a hair dryer it seems to start right away after that

Its an air leak... try replacing all the fuel lines, tighten the carb and check the lid on the gas tank.... you can check for leaks by either using bubbles (for kids) or liquid dish soap and some...

I run on the road quite a bit. the best tires i found are proline road hawgs in the front. and proline road rage in the back...it seems to hook up the best with the least amoutn of wear

I would get a temp gun (duratrax flashpoints are cheap and easy to use point and shoot).. But from what it sounds like, you are running way too hot. Dont go by the glow plug color.. you wont know if...
