After reading all the negative about the 2-speeds being all but impossible to set so they shift correctly I wouldn't waste the money...put the money towards better radio gear instead.

Just make sure you have the mesh set correctly and the engine square with the tranny when you put it back together....otherwise....you buy gears.

You should be able to find the Traxxas spring (or ANY better spring) at your LHS...just take it in and compare.

Clean the outside off really good first...use some spray carb cleaner or something like that....then take the head off and check the top of the piston and see if is are scorched or looks blued...if...

Oh I'm not saying it WOULD'NT work....my concerns are more about room to work with....like where would you put the battery pack and the receiver if you were to give up access to the receiver...

I put a Sportwerks .26 in mine...(used in the Mayhems) it's the same motor as a Dynamite Mach .26....very good motor....tons of power and easier to tune than the Infinity....one other cool thing...
