RE: YAK 55 with FlightFlex

I had the U-Can-Do vesion of the Yak EPP. It was a fair plane, but a good 3D trainer. Very tough plane and easy to fix with hot glue. I had a HiMax 2810 in mine with 1320 LiPo's. Flew ok, but...

RE: lipo dead????

Sounds like a bad battery, but you need to put an amp meter on it and run the motor and see if it's giving you enough amps. It could also be the esc or motor. The esc and motor should be easy to...

RE: F27 Stryker with BL480 motor

Haven't tried that motor on my Striker, but it works great on my other planes. It should be more than enough power with a 5 x 5 prop. I have a Astro .20 in my Striker and love it! The only problem...

I finally put retracts on my E-Flight P47. It never looked right with the gear down flying around. I stuck some .10 Great Planes mechanical retracts on in place of the fixed gear. They work great....

RE: 450 480 e flite motor question

You can try a 10/10 or 11/7 and see if you get any performance improvement. I think the best prop for the 450 is probably a 9/7, but that will give you less torque. Does the battery/motor get hot...

RE: 450 480 e flite motor question

I stuck a 480 in my P47 and love it. I use a 11/7 prop, 35 amp ESC and 3 cell 2100 LiPo. The plane is real fast and climbs vert no problem. You need to be careful with the trottle as the motor can...

RE: BP 9Y or Bp21 in Eflight p-47

They recommend a 450 outrunner in the manual for an upgrade. The stock motor is poor for anything other than level flight on calm days. I stuck a 480 outrunner in mine and it flys great. You need...

RE: Anyone have the Goldberg Chipmunk 400?

I get about 12 minutes using a 1320 LiPo unless it's windy and about 18 minutes using a 2100 LiPo.

RE: Suggested 3d plane for AXI2808

RE: Lipo Charger Suggestions?

I first purchased a Thunder Power charger and was fine with it until I ran some batteries too low and it wouldn't recognize the batteries. I have since purchased an Astro charger and it's great. ...

RE: U Can Do 3D

I was given one to try for a local hobby shop and didn't like it much. It was really sloppy and flew below expectations. I tried several different motors (brushed and brushless) and never found a...

RE: Anyone have the Goldberg Chipmunk 400?

My chipmunk flew great with the CG right where they recommended. I have a 850 kv HiMax outrunner in it with a 9 x 7 prop and it will go verticle no problem. It handles great, but does balloon a...

RE: prop saver and spinner???

If you want that type of look try and find a folding prop. Grappler makes a bunch of nice folding props, but they only go to 7", I think. Maybe someone else knows some other folding props. I have...

RE: Anyone have the Goldberg Chipmunk 400?

RE: TF 1/8 P47 control throws?

Flew mine again yesterday and did some nice rolls and a couple loops. You need to get some dive speed for the rolls, but it performed them nicely. I did have a short landing in the tall grass when...

RE: F27 STRYKER, WAY PAST THE LIMITS! PART 4...

New to this forum, but not with the F27. It's still one of my favorite planes to fly. I can do anything with that plane and don't sweat as much as when I fly my other "pretty" planes : )

My...

RE: TF 1/8 P47 control throws?

I set mine to the recommended throws and haven't had any problems flying. I can get it to do nice rolls and loops. The loops are BIG, but I am using the stock motor right now. I did have to bend my...

RE: Anyone have the Goldberg Chipmunk 400?

I just picked one up two days ago. I haven't flown if yet, but got my HiMax 850 kv to line up using an E-Flight adaptor to get the thrust lines corrected. Anyone have any suggestions on the best CG...
