RE: Better than a Mach 427?

i own a mach 427 and a mach 28, and i like the 28 a whole lot more. more power all the way around.

that new picco 28 is supposed to be pretty mean though, i'm thinking about picking one up.

RE: Jumping..how big is too big?

this is a ramp we built and use every weekend. my buggy's record is 56 feet past the ramp, height was probably about 25 feet or so

i dont think 13 is too young to own or manage a nitro car at all, financing it might pose a problem though.

RE: mach.28 vs .427 mach

thats absolutly wrong.

i pulled the mach 527 out of my lst2 to put it into my buggy, and replaced it with a mach 28. The 427 spins a little higher that the 28, but the 28 has TONS more low end....

RE: $1000 race against 3 speed savage do i have a chance

Tune the truck for top end...

run 40%
run the stock tires, or the tallest ones you can find
get a front only conversion, and swap the gears inside the tranny
taking your front drive shaft...

RE: Savage X, LST2, or Hellfire???

This statement is retarded. Just because the hellfire and the savage are both made by HPI means nothing durability wise between the two. The hellfire is a single speed, which sucks in a large heavy...

RE: how durable is the lst2

The only time i've broken anything on my LST2 is when i've run into something HARD. Other than that it's rock solid.
