Has anyone ever had Phoenix missiles on their R/C F-14? I don't think I've recalled one that has had them on the plane in flight. I imagine too much drag and weight..

Yep, last time I weight with fuel I know it was a bit less than 18 lbs, but that was before I re-painted some portions on the plane. I need to go back and recheck..

Takeoff took around 250 feet...

Actually the addendum from 1995 states that the C.G. should be 12.5" ahead of the trailing edge, not 12".. otherwise it is a bit tailheavy.

Should be with Conformal tanks full and gear rectracted....
