You might want to get in touch with the US Air Force and let them know that flaps are permissiable in a slip....They taught us wrong I guess....

360 servo

I think model sailboats use a 360 servo to move the sail.
I do not know the size.
Look in hobbylobby catalog under sailboats or go online.

slipping the airplane in a x-wind

If the wind is crossing from port to starboard, apply right rudder and left wingboard. Keep your nose toward the wind.
NO FLAPS when slipping!

rx antenna

Diode,
I am routing my antenna through a carbon fiber/kevelar fuse on my sailplane...I have about 12" sticking out the rear of the airplane...is this ok???
I have heard carbon fiber does not let...

FMA CO-PILOT

The FMA Co-Pilot is a wonderful tool....
As stated before..It is not a Gyro.....It levels your wings.....It will stabilize a heli in unbelieveable circumstances.
Why would anyone install a gyro???...

Being weightless and no drag, no gravity...
I would say the airplane would fly until it hits something.
You could not plug in control surfaces to make a continous turn...so it would go straight...

and well said.
While full scale pilots do in fact understand the flight of the airplane, I think flying model aircraft made me a better full scale pilot.
Had I flown model aircraft...
