I would ask local folk if they have an engine they an give you. You should be able to find a .40 on eBay or Craigs list if that fails. Good luck.

Thanks for passing the hobby to another...

I don't know. I would try eBay for kits. BVM may have replacement wing kits. If the UV is light enough, find someone local, make a few templates and cut a FOAM copy

I hadn't really given it much thought. I really need to sell a bunch of planes, at some point, to make room. Price would depend on how RTF you want them. Which one are you interested in? I have...

Personally at the stage you are at I would get a nice Cub with floats. Then I would get a nicely loaded war bird or something similar as the next step. Moving from foam to built up planes will be a...

Smitty,

Depending on what your first plane was; you may not want a Seawind as a 2nd plane. This one is not what I would consider a beginner plane. If you do get one, and I am selling one BTW, I...

Pete,

The Whiplash is just like the Diamond Dust. You don't need a launcher. I Just hold mine by a wing tip, leaving one tip on the ground. When you are ready to go just raise your arm gently and...

RE: Seagull Model Cessna 337 ARF

Thanks! I knew mine flew well on one engine. Oddly enough; that plane has a .60 on the nose and a .46 in the rear. The two would sync perfectly!

RE: Seagull Model Cessna 337 ARF

Sonny,

Did you fly the full scale with only the rear engine? I remember my 1st model of this plane (old Royal) flew well on one engine but I can't remember which engine.

RE: Seagull Model Cessna 337 ARF

I finally completed my removeable wing tube mod. I decided to go very simple. I've added a 1/8" ply reinforcement to the inside of the four root ribs of the wing sections. The center sections have a...

RE: Seagull Model Cessna 337 ARF

Sonny,

Your issue is most likely cooling. Try running the rear engine with a small fan pointed at it to see if that is the case. On my last Skymaster I ran the rear engine much richer than the...

RE: Seagull Model Cessna 337 ARF

I was told the aluminum stand-offs, for the electric conversion, may introduce vibration. My local hobby shop made custom boxes for me to mount the motors. The boxes are great and bolt to the stock...

RE: Seagull Model Cessna 337 ARF

RE: Seagull Model Cessna 337 ARF

No holes, go ahead and get one. The E-conversion standoffs are too short for the recommended motor size though.
