I have converted a .55, and 80, and a 100. I bought them with R/C carbs, had a change of heart, and bought a few NVAs from PAW. They all fitted into the grub screw holes. I don't believe the R/C...

"looks like it's as simple as removing the carburetor and installing a C/L NVA,"

Yep, that's exactly how it's done. They usually run a bit better too

RE: Club Mills!

Hi Larry, I built a 54" Quaker from a PVHC kit and flew it with an Irvine Mills 1.3. It flew quite well although certainly not over-powered with the Mills running just off flat-chat on a 10" prop. ...

RE: Club Mills!

Masterful analysis Jon. Thanks very much. Helps me to understand why the two engines I have from you run so well.

RE: Club Mills!

The TT Scooter was made for the Thunder Tiger GP07 glow as I recall. Nice little engine and sweet handling, but not much power

I ran my Mills 1.3 with a Topflite 10 * 3 1/2 today. Very nice! ...

RE: Getting out the Diesel

How did the flying go 123Cat?

I ran a few sideports at home and did a bit of messing around with a model for a Mills 1.3

Then I had a beer :)

RE: Club Mills!

The Sparky looks good! Looking forward to hearing how it flies. A mate of mine used to fly one with a Frog Vibramatic. Just the right sort of power. As I recall the Sparky turned quite lazily -...

RE: Club Mills!

Those Patrman replicas look very nice. Are they good quality, and are they still available?

RE: ENYA 180XGS gasoline/glow plug

VERY interested to hear how this engine goes. It's a bit big for my models but maybe down the track they will come out with smaller versions. Hooray for Enya! The Magnum .45 gasser still hasn't...

RE: Lightest .20-.30 2 stroke *Updated*

I just went through the same exercise for a MEN 15 Trainer. I weighed up all my .25s (OS LA25, Enya 25SS, Fox .25, GMS .25, Thunder Tiger .28, Super Tigre .34) and the lightest was the OS LA, it was...

RE: CS replicas: Rivers and Oliver Tiger 2.5 - progress!

Cox 8*4 props, the grey ones, would be getting a bit old too nowadays. I love them for .75 side ports but I wouldn't be game to put one onto a hot .15.

RE: What planes are your Diesels in?

I'm sorry I missed you Mike. I was there for Saturday morning but had to leave after lunch. Great day! Got some great flights in with my 54" Quaker and Tomboy.

RE: Do all PAW .06's have sloppy bottom end conrod fit?

I agree, a look inside would be the thing to do, if only to alleviate fears. I would heat the case with a heat gun, then, like Greg K says, use a right sized washer in a vise to get the backplate...

RE: RE:

I'm building a 15 Trainer at the moment, just started covering. Pretty good kit all round. I have a Twin Trainer kit as well. There's an *bay seller in Australia who auctions a few every so often....

Looking forward to hearing how the EziFly flies Mike. Just bought one myself from the same place :-) Will you be bringing it to Cowra Oily Hand Day?

RE: enya diesels no longer available

I recommend emailing EnyaDirect. It will get straight to Key Enya and you'll get a *very* polite reply quite quickly. He's very good to deal with.

RE: enya diesels no longer available

I don't think Modelflight are dealing Enyas any more. Probably too much competition from the Enya direct site. I have talked to other retailers about Enya, the consensus seems to be they are hard...

RE: Diesel pusher

On pusher props for the 55, I found a Cox 5*3 three bladed prop which seems to work pretty well. There might still be a few around.

RE: Little motors - What's good and what's not?

I have one of the 10FSRs and it's a fine little engine. No great powerhouse but runs well, about the same as a 10FP or 10LA
