That stuff isn't too brittle compared to gutter pipe. It might be a little more brittle than fencepost but it it not warping like the post material. Thanks for the suggestion. I like the T shape...

I have used FG rod and music wire. Same strength but the FG rod is easier to cut and install.Put some polyurathane glue in the flute with the rod and tape the ends of the flute until the glue cures.

I flew my Gnat against Don's blue meany last week and we had a blast. The club spectators are starting to taste combat fun. I expect to see many more next season.

Magnum may come out with an XLS. If it performs like the 15xls we have a good replacement. Hopfully Magnum will keep the displacement at .30 or below and use a remote needle valve to prevent damage...

I fly combat because I'm 63 years old and haven't had this much fun since I was a kid in High School. It's great when I can get a cut on a Jr. High kid that won the NATS.
