RE: I made a mistake! PLEASE READ!

I didn't 'hammer' him by any means. I simply stated (in my re-activated listing) that he was apparently a scammer. What would you think when someone asks you to ship an item before you ever see any...

RE: Engine mount 'flex'

The local hobby shop didn't have the aluminum mount, so I went with the Great Planes adjustable mount. I had to hack out the center, but it should be fine. Pretty much like any other two piece...

RE: Engine mount 'flex'

I looked it over some more. It's not the firewall or screws coming loose. It's literally movement in the mount itself. I guess I'm going to swap it out. I'll give the aluminum Horizon mount a try...

Engine mount 'flex'

Hi all!

I flew my Seagull Ultimate 90 last weekend (yay!). I have the DLE-20 on the front and I used the stock 'nylon' mount that came with the bird. Everything was nice and rigid before...

RE: 500mah to 180mah, which resistor?

Thanks for all the help! With nothing attached, it's putting out 25 volts. What I didn't check was if attaching a battery to another set of jacks affects the voltage at all. I don't think it does,...

500mah to 180mah, which resistor?

Hello RCU!

I have an old Anderson Racing multi-charger. One of the sets of jacks charges at 500mah and I want to drop it down to 180mah(ish). How do I go about determining what resistor I...

RE: Why Beginners Do Not Want To Join Clubs

Attitude goes a long way. That being said, I was the treasurer of a club at one time. The one thing that finally made me quit.....politics. I don't mean government, I mean club. Some...

RE: Response to the upcoming FAA SUAS regulation

"We know that the FAA has drawn a hard line between recreational use and commercial use. "

Does this line sound at least a little reassuring? If the FAA is drawing a line between us and...

RE: Idiots in New York, RC plane buzzing Statue of Liberty & Brooklyn Bridge

The funny thing is that people keep arguing on here trying to convince fellow RCers. The fact is it doesn't matter one diddly squat what we think. We are the minority, period. All it takes is some...

RE: What DON'T you like about your Tx?

I finally made it down to the hobby store today. They had the Aurora 9 and the 8FG but not the DX8 (does anybody? lol). I've got to say that I liked the feel of both of them. I want telemetry so...

RE: What DON'T you like about your Tx?

Well dang, I haven't made it down to the LHS yet. I'm going to try this weekend. I'm really starting to think the Aurora might be the way I go. Between the price and the telemetry it's kind of...

RE: What DON'T you like about your Tx?

Dual elevator support is a necessity for sure and I was about to ask "which radio" but that is way to subjective.

I hope that is the case. I really like what I hear about the Aurora 9. ...

Hi all!
I'm getting back into the hobby after a few years away. Like a fool, I sold most everything I had and now have to "re-tool" as it were. I'll be purchasing a radio system after the...

RE: Can the poor opinion of AMA be changed and how??

Hi all,
While I have some problems with the AMA's thinking most of the time, one thing I don't get is why everyone jumps at the chance to use the AMA insurance. If I'm at the field and cut my...
