RE: Trying to contact Accell Hobby

Just got off the phone with Alex this morning. He apologised and said he had mistakenly plugged his fax into the wrong line. Anyway, give him a ring...you should be able to get through now.

RE: Trying to contact Accell Hobby

I have been trying all morning to call them to purchase a kat 70 and keep getting the fax machine as well. I sent them an email an hour or so ago and as of yet have not heard back.

Looks a lot like the Hobby Lobby Switchblade in different colors. HL was selling theirs for $69.

RE: Does this Piston/Sleeve Look Trashed to You?

Yes, this is a ringed engine and as far as I can tell by looking in the exhaust port, the ring is intact. The bearings feel great. If anything a little syrupy. About the compression, When turning...

Does this Piston/Sleeve Look Trashed to You?

This is an OS .61SXHWC recently pulled from an ergo 60 helicopter. After running like a sewing machine for nearly two years, the motor is starting to exhibit some reliability problems. I pulled the...

TT .39H Pro

I know the motor is the same size as the .36, but I have never compared a 36 to a 25 side by side.

TT .39H Pro

The Heli and Airplane versions of these two are the same save the BIG HEAD on the heli versions which alows for better cooling in the confines of a helicopter.

TT .39H Pro

Just curious if anyone has any experience with one of these in a fun-fly application.

I know several of you guys like the TT .36H on a mouse can pipe for planes under 4 lbs. The .39 is ringed,...

Magic CG

If your Magic WAS snapping and then quit, the servos theory is probably correct.

However, unless your MAGIC is built wildly different than mine or the hand full of others I have seen, your C.G...

I do not own a spoiler, but since you aren't getting much help I thought I'd let you in on my OBSERVATIONS.

I have personnally watched Jerry fly his spoiler on several occasions. His...

Please Diagnose my Flat Spin Problem

Got my Magic together last weekend and have been having a ball wringing it out; however, it has some unusual traits when attempting a flat spin.

I can get the model to flatten out nicely, but it...

Ripmax Rapier

IMHO, I would prefer BOTH elevons and a vertical rudder (or two!). The plane would probably fly fine without the rudder, but with one you could likely wring out some additional crazy aerobatics....

Ripmax Rapier

I've been looking at the Rapier myself. Question: does the Rapier have rudder control or is it just an elevon only setup?

Thanks

Rough Running 61wc at hover

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I will give them a try. The engine is in an Ergo with a Hatori muffler. Stock fuel plumbing setup (no header or uniflow).

What a great site.

Rough Running 61wc at hover

My os 61wc has developed a couple of unusuall habits.

In a hover, the engine seems/sounds to have a "miss". The engine produces a smooth idle and top end but when hovering the engine goes...

Good Point

Fitenfyr hit on an excellent point: no matter what .60 machine you opt for, they are ALL SIGNIGICANTLY MORE EXPENSIVE TO FLY, FUEL, AND CRASH than a 30. Lets not forget servos, and I use a gallon...

What is the best bang for the buck 60 size heli

IMHO, the best bang for the buck really boils down to bucks. All the .60 machines will do sport flying aerobatics in stock form and with minimal mods can be as wild or 3d capable as THEIR OPERATORS....
