Does anyone have any experince with their premounts? I know the stock tires for the SHO are kinda crappy for racing, but their studs look kinda nice, and they're cheap!

On the link for amainhobbies, there were 3 different styles of the Savage... thats where I go that from. I'll get the things from our hobby shop instead of amain, thanks a lot for all of the help!

You're confusing me... do you want me to get a Savage??? I already have one :). I am only looking to put $100 or so into a SHO ( besides radio) to make it a truggy, for now.

Our track is hard packed with some loose dirt. We try to water the track down before racing starts and a few more times between races.

For the future; I know my engine (stock SHO .21) will not hold up to the competitive truggys, so what engine and pipe would be best. Also, what gearing for more bottom end?

Racing in Oberlin on sundays... I know a few guys that are racing Medina on saturdays and they're gonna hit up Xtreme R.C. Sports on sundays... should be fun this year!
