Yeah it's made for cars, but isnt that made for DRAG cars? Heh, not sure you want to really run a vehicle that runs for more than 2 min on that :P

Went out driving today, had a blast, the bearing seems to not be leaking anymore, but from start up or idle it gets really loaded up, so I figure I am running WAY too rich. I will be leaning it out...

Some searching I think I may have found the problem. I looked at the back of the engine(opposite side of flywheel) and the bearing seems to be throwing out very little oil/gas? I think the bearing...

Ok did all what you guys said... got better, ran a whole tank through at no more than half throttle and here is where I am at now.... a little stumped, I Havent done nitro trucks in about 1 year but...

Changed the glow plug to hot, duratrax how long reach, did a little better, changed fuel from odonnels to traxxas, runs now, can putt around no problem, but when i stop to idle it will start reving...

Ive got half a tank of gas through the truck and it hasnt ran for more than like 10 seconds, once i take the glow plug ignighter off it dies. Brand new batteries all around and everything. tried idle...

spent the last hour trying to get it to stay running, tried throttle trim, idle needle, and low end needle in 1/8th turn increments, cant get it to stay running without ignighter, even with mcoy 59...

I just bought my MGT 8.0 today with the 8cc, .50 engine, I followed the instructions exactly, set idle to .050, high end needle to 3.75 turns counter clockwise after full clockwise in, low end to 5.5...

Everyone keeps telling me this, but only thing they have is glow. Figured electric would be easiest that way i dont have to deal with motor tuning, can focus on flying.

I read up above about welding, It will have to be mig or tig welded, solder isnt strong enough, one of the most common ways to weld with tubing and rods is brazing, this just simply wont be strong...

Both my servos are hitech, my steering is a 1/4 scale titanium gear, 273 oz, my throttle/brake is titanium gear 333oz, both are digital and ball bearing, let me tell you digital is definatly the way...
