Yeah replaced w/ braided tubing because the fuel lines come out right by the gears, and got myself a filter along with a million other things. Will have pictures soon.

I agree, Just replaced the JR XS3 Pro, with Spektrum's DX3. With the JR I didn't have to have spare crystals, but I still needed to select the channel. The spektrum just selects it automatically...

Not quit the same moter. It's the H.O. adition. With Higher Output it can acheive higher rpms and more low end torque. Or so Hpi says. Either way I swaped mine out with a V-spec and am selling...

Yeah saw that on http://www.truggyraces.com , but that still doesn't sovle the problem with Suspension Arms. none the less it's a great start, plus they look good :)

Honestly, no. The Suspension A-arms aren't durable enough and that's just not what it's made for. If you did bash it, you'd be replacing a rms all the time not to mention suspention braces as well....

yeah wmff82 broke his a arms on his hellfire also. No one has them in stock. I looked for a good hour so I couls order some back ups as well, but couldn't find anything. Gonna have to wait a month...

Ok, yeah thanks for that info wmff82. Do you know anything about the 3mm piece? Yeah, that sucks that your xtreme top piece broke. The 3mm piece does look to be thicker around the battery box...

This is a question for anyone else running a 12tz on there RS4. Did you have to shim the h*ll out of the clutch to get it to fit? More specifically anyone who has the 12tz and a centax clutch.

Ok, after spending a long time at the lhs, they said the manifold was where it's supose to be i'm just worried, and that the flywheel and gears are definately toooo far back. So we called HPI...

Yeah, that's why is all the 18ss kits they tell you to replace the spring in the clutch holder. As far as gears, the purple are mid, the red's give you a higher top speed and the gold give you more...

well, i'm not sure if it's the exhaust, the one i got was made for the rs4 3 anyway, but once i got the clutch on then the gears were too for back as well. I think the engine mounts may be making it...

Ok, this should be an interesting mod...

Just got the 12tz and w/ heat sink mounts and everything, started putting it together and found an interesting problem... The rear exhaust manifold rubs...

Pretty much from what i've heard. That's why all serious racing chassis like Kyosho v-one rrr, Mugen mtx-4, HPI R40, Serpent 710 all require slide car, sg shaft (w/ centax clutch), and rear exhaust....

Yeah, a slide carb with give you more get go off the line and it's better for higher rpm's.
