I fly the formosa with a himax 2025 4200 geared 6.6 -1, 11-8 prop, TP2100 3 cell lipo. Pulls around 13.5 amps static and performs great. Unlimited verticle and good speed also.

I dont think they will work together. JR uses a positive shift and futaba is negative shift.

I would like to add that I recommend pinning the rudder hinges. Last time i flew my flip i was doing a blender and ripped the rudder off. Amazingly, It didnt fly all that bad without it and landed...

I had the same problem with my flip dropping the tail on landing. I recently set up a spoileron mix on my radio that raises both ailerons up a little. Seems to help it settle down allot on landing.

I have an OS 1.08 and i do love it. Unfortunatly it needs a new home. Its too big for most 60 size and too small for 1/4 scale. I mostly fly aerobatic stuff. Any suggestions?

You might want to check up on some car audio websites. www.termpro.com is a good one. These guys run multiple batteries in their cars all the time.

I think a Magic would fly well with this engine. I have a 46 LA on my magic and it is the perfect engine for it. Lighter than the Fx and still power to spare when in this airframe. A good flying...
