I've been flying my nexstart and SS for a little while now. I have been pushing myself and have yet to wreck either plane. I want to stay electric and get into 3D flying. I don't have any materials...

RE: Fun with Flat Foam

Well I've gone to every building supply store around. No FFF. The LHS doesn't carry Depron either. Looks like I will have to order some in.

RE: Fun with Flat Foam

I have a question about the Blucore. They sell it at my local lowes under a different name. It comes in 4' X 8' sheets 1/2'' thick. Is this the right material? One comes with a skin on it and another...

RE: will this burn up my motor?

Thanks everyone. I got ahold of GWS and they said the motor is only rated for 6-7 cell packs. I will bypass the LHS's recommendation of an 8 cell pack.

will this burn up my motor?

I was recommended an 8-Cell 9.6V 2/3A 1100mAh NiMH for my stock slow stick. The LHS said at our altitude (4400 ft) that this is what is needed to get the plane off the ground. The motor is a 7.2 volt...

RE: GWS slow stick

I'm thinking of getting a couple of the Great Planes 8-Cell 9.6V 2/3A 1100mAh NiMH packs . The local hobby shop said at our high altitude this is what was needed to get them up in the air. Still not...

RE: GWS slow stick

The only models I can find are either the 300 or 400 motors.

Forgot to mention that the lipo pack is a 2 cell. Would going to a c-25 ESP help with shorting out?
