Pulled a whoops. Had the ESC plugged into the battery instead of throttle. Everything works great now.

I have a slow stick and live in a windy enviroment as well. The way mine is set up it can handle up to 10mph winds. It does get pushed around alot in high wind but it is manageable,...

Well I've gone to every building supply store around. No FFF. The LHS doesn't carry Depron either. Looks like I will have to order some in.

Thanks everyone. I got ahold of GWS and they said the motor is only rated for 6-7 cell packs. I will bypass the LHS's recommendation of an 8 cell pack.

Forgot to mention the ESC is the Great Planes ElectriFly C-12 Micro Brushed ESC w/BEC.

I was recommended an 8-Cell 9.6V 2/3A 1100mAh NiMH for my stock slow stick. The LHS said at our altitude (4400 ft) that this is what is needed to get the plane off the ground. The motor is a 7.2 volt...

The only models I can find are either the 300 or 400 motors.

Forgot to mention that the lipo pack is a 2 cell. Would going to a c-25 ESP help with shorting out?
