I have a wendell Hostedler Cessna 152. 120" wing span. It has a 60CC elect. motor from hobby king in it.
I got the plane from a friend. It flys great. Lots of power on a 12 Cell 6000mah packs...

In a little head wind you have to make sure you don't get to slow using Flaps,

The F-14 Ready to fly is 36 LBS
I run two 6 cell 6000mah 100C lipo packs per fan unit. a total of 4 battery...

My F-15 has two 120mm EDF Jet Fan 12 cell setup per fan unit in it. I am not sure of the motor setup. ( I did not build the F-15)
On the F-15 I use:
Two China Line Hobby 6 cell 6000mah...

Also....
The Main gear struts ride very close to the side body of the jet, so when the gear go up, the gear arms will snag the inner gear door every time when it tries to come up....

The gear was real stiff and it would not go all the way up into...

As for the gear door. if you zoom into this photo, you can see the gear doors. You can't see the inner doors.
I am not using air cylinders, I am using strings and springs...
