Check your travel adujust or endpoints, then check how much cyclical pitch youi have, that has a big effect on how the heli performs
to much it will bog to little it will roll/flip slow

The ThunderTiger 53 is the biggest right now, My experiences with TT engines make me steer clear of it though. I have read some rumors of OS coming out with a new engine. Can't go wrong with an OS 50.

carbon base plate goes in between the landing gear and frame. Stiffens it up.

If the gyro is in heading hold mode yes, it will not recenter after you release the stick. You need to be in Rate mode when you do initial setup.

One click at a time. Until you feel some staying in the backplate. Keep it on the rich side because when you start flying around and doing aerobatics it will load the motor and need richer settings...

Keep an eye on the main hub. IF you replace them as soon as the start to show slop you should be alright. That or buy a metal main hub.

Like jeff martin suggested, make sure to keep your fuel line clamped until right before you are ready to start.
Also with OUT the glow igniter attached open your throttle all the way lean the heli...

I have both, same engine cases piston rod bearings etc. Different "buggy style" head and larger carb.
The Hyper definatley makes more power while the smaller carb SX naturally uses less fuel....
