Hi, I actualy am the new owner of this model and according to the scale documentation, the National ensign(star) is as shown on the same side as the photo of this original Grumman TBM-3 Avenger it...

Hi Stan, I do not use the spring start as I never have had any problems with the grey box start. The carb has had to go on a U bend, though I do not have any part of the boot that goes on the spark...

Hi, mine goes ballistic on a zanoah 45 and have virtualy unlimmited verticle performance. All fueld up weighs just under 30lb ;)

Ron, I have no tempature issues with the G45, though the dummy radial has the cylenders missing infront of the g45 head.
Indeed the vibration has caused problems initialy with the internal cockpit...

Ron, good to see you back on with the project. I would sujest 50 to 1 with the oil and since you have a 62 would sugest 22x10 rather than 20x10. I have a new member to my fleet now with a 97" gruman...

Ron, I pritty sure I used gaskets before and after and I think I put a picture of it on your thread further back, but not sure if it shows in the detail. I also did not build the filter for the carb...
