RE: Need Opinions On Engines..

YAK 140? Is that a 140 2 stroke or 4 stroke? You are limited in a 140 2 stroke choice. 4 stroke should be the YS-160 or Saito 180 size. Looks like you need to put the OS 140 2 stroke in it. Talk...

RE: Something Bigger - is there such a model?

The 3D freedom was kitted from a previous owner. Its original name was challenged by SIG for copyright infringement. So it was renamed the 3D Freedom. Great plane by the way!

RE: First tail dragger help

Most small Cubs I have seen have been a handfull. Very few are stable on takeoff. Of course its all in how you take off. Most use too much power. The larger the cub, the more stable. Good luck...

RE: King Kobra Comments?

I built and flew the Cougar and the King Cobra. The KC was a stable and slightly heavy plane. It flew well and had a great presentation in the air. I personally preferred the cougar. It was much...

RE: Do we need better defined categories?

Dion;
I am just giving some constructive criticism. "OK, all you ARF assemblers to the back of the bus!" was just my little joke at segregating the lower class!!!!! And by the sound of post...

RE: 6V on RX ANY PROBLEMS?

I've been using 6v packs for quite some time and in conjunction with Hitec servo's. Occasionally I'll see the jitters from a newly charged pack but after letting the plane sit a few with the...

RE: Do we need better defined categories?

While we do have an ARF forum and many military posts go there, I feel this forum should stay as is. Its Warbirds and Warplanes. If you feel the need, then post in the Scale forum. There are many...

RE: Huge Problems

The problem I have found is that you can NOT start at O and dial in 180 L and 180 R. The servos will be different every time. What you should do is set up a little jig to put your servo in. Attach...

RE: PCM??

I have to agree with Mike G and Silversurfer! HITEC's have an affinity to servo reversers and signal/power boosters. With large aircraft I tyically start with twisting the wires by hand and using a...

RE: Question for airbrush users

The Badger 150 is probably one of the best all around airbrushes. Easy to clean, easy to use and not bad on the pocket book. I like it much better than my Passche! Also a small compressor with...

RE: Need an aerobatic aircraft for 3w-75

I had a 3W75 in my H9 33% Extra. I used CF tube and gear, single servo's on the ailerons. Came out 22lbs even! Was a sweet flying plane. Highly recommended. The 33% ZEdge would fit the bill also...

RE: 30% cristain eagle issues;help

I agree with Silversurfer and V-snap. Fresh batteries (6v) tend to make things jumpy and I've definately had issues with Y-harnesses like you are experiencing!

RE: Sullivan Skywriter not working... anyone else?

Fresh 6v packs are known to make your servos jitter as if something is wrong. Usually let the plane sit a few minutes with everything on and it smooths out.

Oh, and I had to send both my...
