My Fadec ECU from Gaspbar burned out after about 5 runs, so my service guy replaced it with a Regal Electronics ECU. It seems to have its own problems.

Has anyone heard of Regal electronics. Gabe replaced my Nades ECU with the Regal ECU because it died when he was rebuilding my JJ. I'm not impressed with the Regal at all.[:@]

I know they work I guess its a matter of how much effort one wants to put into the motor. I do think joe should sell all his motors as kits and at something less than $600.00 for the 1400.

I may use the jj1400 I have as a boat ancher thats about all its good for. I have been with turbines since the beginning and I must say the jj's are the worst example of engineering I have ever seen...

Not only that but if I where thinking of buying a turbine on e-bay I could ask the seller to post clear photos of the turbine wheel, Wren has there name cast into it or post photos of the casting...

Glad to hear you have your money back. I only buy odds and ends from e-bay so if I get ripped off its not a big deal. I would never buy a turbine or turbine parts or anything over $100.00 for that...
