Thanks for the detailed explanation, that makes perfect sense. Two follow up questions, would bodies, wheels, etc. listed as 1/12th scale fit an M-Chassis by default? Also, do they use the same...

Okay, I am a bit of a newb to the on-road RC scene so what is a "M-Chassis"? It appears to be smaller than their other 1/10th scale on-road cars, but nowhere near as small as a Micro, so whats up?

They just came out with the "L8IGHT Model" which is a 1/8th nitro late model...do they really need a 1/18, 1/8, and 1/10th of the same vehicle? Maybe, but I doubt it. I am hoping for a direct...

As I understand it 12.5 inches is the max length allowed for competition rock crawling in the 2.2 class, so that is why most people target that length. Not sure what is best, probably depends alot...

The one Calvino linked to was in Orange County Florida. The closest track I know of is in San Clemente. I have never been, but I understand it may be open to the public all the time, but not sure. ...
