Please check out post #1074 for pictures. I have a Bisson side mount muffler on it. I cut the stacks off 1/2" below the cowl.

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER

I agree, not a plane for hovering. I can hold it for about 2 torque rolls and that is about it. Plenty of power, just not control. Super flying plane and looks great.

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER

I have a great plane PT-17 Stearman that I transport in my f150 pickup. I don't have to take the wings off of it. The Pitts 12 is a little smaller but the gear is higher.

RE: Carl Goldberg -- PITTS S12 MONSTER

Looks like you can move the engine back a ways so you don't have to cut for the carb. I will make custom exhaust tubes so it won't screw up the scoop.

Thanks for the pics.

RE: H9 MUSTANG 60 KIT BASH

Just my opinion. It looks like you do very nice work. I just can't stand an engine sticking out the side.

Have fun, It is a nice flying plane.

RE: H9 MUSTANG 60 KIT BASH

Why would you go through the trouble of making a new cowl, flaps and then mounting your engine sideways. Just looks like poop.
