RE: fiberglass hull repair help?

If it were me I would try to keep the repair simple and without too much external work (keep it pretty). I’d clean up the outside, remove loose pieces, and use some duct tape, with wax paper...

RE: FAST CRASH ON DAY ONE

Lots of chop on the bay.. Nice ride and recovery.
If you put this in scale speed I'd say you should be satified with your build..

If you plan to upgrade the motors be aware that you will need to...

Here a link to a short video.

RE: Cat 36” from R2hobbies (Hong Kong)

First run today..
Speed was well below my expectation. I'd have to guess around 30mph at best. To much weight toward the bow. Was very wet. I need to relocate the batteries back toward the stern...

Ray,
Thanks for the feedback on the esc’s.
What I like to do is mix the batteries in series to increase voltage as I test out the system for heat.
For example, for the CAT I’ll start with...

RE: Cat 36” from R2hobbies (Hong Kong)

Ray,
I’m really starting to worry about the CG on this build. I have to be a good 3 inches forward from the 30% standard. I really don’t want to add weight to the back to balance the boat. ...
