Synergy 90 ARF

our runways are bumpy and sometimes have long grass (when they havn't been cut) so I guess bigger diameters are out then. I get the best results with a 12x6 on a 53 irvine in an Xtreme Lite, finer...

best prop for OS 91FX

What is the best prop for prop hanging and 3D with OS 91FX, something like a 17x6 ??? most people seem to use a 15x8 but surely the pitch is not fine enough and thrust goes up with prop diameter, not...

Sealing control surfaces

how do you do this? On a 3D plane with thick ailerons, do you put a flat piece of tape all the way along the wing where the aileron joins it over lapping the the aileron or do you take the tape from...

when modifying the servo mounts at the tail of the fuz to take my futaba serovs I noticed that the existing mounts are butt joined to the balsa and not glued all that well, I reccommend a light balsa...

what is crazy

is the way they expect you to mount your aileron servos, by the time you have hacked away at the wing to get a Futaba S9150 servo in there is nothing left of the plywood former and if a 5 kg force...

Synergy 90 ARF

thanks for that answer, I don't think I am going to set mine up at 230 then! I'll start at 240 with an empty tank instead. Then I guess it will shift to about 260 with a full tank and still be safe...

fuel tank position

any ideas for positioning the fuel tank on the CG. CPLR says his CG is 230 from the trailing edge, that puts the CG just forward of the former in the middle of the wing cutout, so that the bottom end...

fuel tank position and CG

for the flyers that position the fule tank on the CG surely this means when the tank is half empty the CG is moved too far back. In a prop hang all the fuel will be behind the CG and on landing any...

coupled elevator and aileron

I notice the Synergy 90 ailerons don't go all the way to the root of the wing, does this mean you have to program elevators to work with ailerons to help control the plane in a prop hang?

Wing loading too high?

Thanks for that Outcast, I guess I just needed a little reassurance, I am not looking for a high speed aircraft and was hoping that by going a little bigger (I normally fly 40 size planes) I could...

cubic loading for the 60-90Edge

this is the problem the 60-90 AW Edge has a cubic wing loading of 11 which is heavy. Its only a 64inch wingspan at 25 plus oz/sq ft. I fly a Majestic wingspan 53inch at 23oz/sq ft that lands very...

Wing loading too high?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this website. I am really keen to get the AW Edge but am worried about the weight. At 8 lbs its over 25oz per sq ft surely thats heavy for a 3D plane. My Extreme Lite is...
