I bought one month ago the upgrade kit for the ZTZ99 from Panzer Command in Evilbay UK.
Just visited their e-store and it seems there is no stock, but I think they will shortly...

Nope, Rivetcounter was totally right, 800mm for the Tiger I and 850mm for the Panther.
Wheels of 850cm in diameter should be higher than the tank itself :)...8.5m some 335 inches......:D

Yes, the manual system on Königstiger was slow indeed, one turn of the auxiliary handwheel gave a turret rotation of 0.5 degrees, so a full 360º should need 720 handwheel turns..........

According to Achtung Panzer #6 maximum traverse speed is 19 sec. for 360º at 2,000 rpm, at 1,500 rpm it is 25 sec and at 1,000 rpms it is 30 secs or more.

Thanks Hal_Husker, but CSC is totally different from CESE, amongst the definitions I've found, the one I prefer is: "Conical-Scanning Earth Sensor Electronics", at least is on the "tech" side :D

No chains for towing in Tigers, never, only cables and/or rigid bars, but as Pattoncommander has already stated, the chain needed for towing a vehicle of nearly 60 T would be gigantic....
