Nope, water based. Behr Clear It holds up to gas great and is crystal clear (no yellowing).

I personally would use Nitrate dope for the primer and to fill the weave of the fabric and Behr matte clear from Home Depot for the clear coat.

For an aerosol you can use ultracote or lustercote clear. If you want to spray yourself, people are having great success with BEHR PREMIUM PLUS WITH STYLE Crystal Clear Water Based Polyurethane...
