The big advantage to EI over mag engines is weight, ease of starting, and smoothness. The Fugi, Zenoah and other mag engines generally are quite heavy for their displacement and the larger sizes...

FWIW I have discovered some 90 second epoxy that is some great stuff if you are quick and are not doing a lot of glueing at one time. Of course if you are patient, that helps. It is about the same...

The Chineese engines are a mixed bunch with different reviews depending on who you ask. Never had a problem with my DL, but then I sold the plane and engine after just a few flights. I was inpressed....

We don't have anything that pretty here. Now it is 49 degrees dropping to 22 tonight with high wind warnings coming with the front. Gusts between 25-35 and I don't even want to think about the chill...

Maybe it will help if I show a picture. The mounts do not extend past the carb. So in order to form a template I would have to remove the carb, Which I really don't want to do on a new engine.
